Strange zoom animation when reopening the app after some time

There’s a strange zoom animation when opening the app after not using it for a while. Ideally, if the app is opened again within, say, 3 hours, it makes sense to return to the same screen as before. However, the zoom animation and everything else happening during the transition feels unnecessary.

In cases where more time has passed (e.g. more than 3 hours), I would prefer to be redirected to the home screen instead.

In the video I’m attaching, I hadn’t used the app for 2 days. In that case, I definitely would have wanted to land on the home screen instead.
