Map pans after zooming in/out

If I’m zooming in/out with a flicking motion the map will pan in some direction, sometimes quite aggressively. Google Maps handles that kind of gesture just fine as a comparison.

To reproduce, make a quick zoom pinch motion (in or out) which ends without you resting a finger on the screen.
