Existing lines are unintentionally marked when drawing new lines

Description:
When drawing a new route line on a topo image, tapping on an existing line causes that line to be marked in red. This seems unintended, as the user is currently creating a new line and should not be interacting with existing ones.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open a topo in edit mode.

2. Start drawing a new route line.

3. Tap on an area where an existing line is located.

4. Observe that the existing line becomes marked in red.

Expected result:
Existing lines should not be marked while drawing a new line. All input should be interpreted as part of the new line being created.

Actual result:
Existing lines can be marked during the drawing process, even though the user is not editing them.
