Beta app has like three different modes that all behave differently.
First is the map with the sliding panel. Click a crag or slide the panel open manually, it doesn't get pushed to the stack, using Back throws you to the home page. It does have a working X button though. Compare this to Google Maps, there Back only slides down the panel like expected.
Second is the "[n] crags/sectors" panel fully on top of the map. Looks like a separate full page. No closing X button, but another map icon instead, confusing. Again, using Back throws you out to the home page instead of sliding down the panel.
Third is the full pages with breadcrumbs, like "Routes" or "Access information". These seem to use stack correctly and Back works as expected, like in other mobile apps.
=> Fix Back and use stack properly.
Another issue is losing context when using X to close the sliding panel completely. For example having "Crag details" open, zoomed into sector level markers. Click X, lose the crag details context and have fun trying to navigate back to it. Or painfully zoom out to get crag markers visible again.
=> Would be nice if the last opened crag had a dedicated bottom navigation bar icon. Then it would be clear and easy to move between the map view and the full crag pages stack.
I'm using Android 14 & gesture Back.
