Add ascent UI is critically slow, results in wrong input

Process & current problem:

• User clicks the “tick mark” to add new ascent

• User is taken to the Add ascent page

• User clicks Redpoint / Flash depending on success

• Problem: the selection is not stored because the page actually takes multiple seconds to load and does not register the selection before loading is complete

• Problem result: even if user selected Flash, the wrong value Redpoint ends up selected because that seems to be the default value

• Only if user realises this problem, they can reselect the value to fix it but many Ascents are now saved with wrong data

Solution:

Refactor / speed up the loading of the page so that once a field is visible, it must be editable. Trick: if the speed cannot be changed, show the field as grayed out before it finishes loading.
